Southeast Water Users District (SEWUD) has gone through a lot of change in the past few years. We are now settled into our consolidation, thanks to all the hard work by the staff of SEWUD; things could not be working better.
We continue to upgrade our system to stay up-to-date on the latest technology. With the changing times of the economy, we will work hard so that we can give our consumers the best quality water at the most affordable rate possible.
The staff is looking forward to another busy year with the different projects we have going for 2009.
SE H2o - East is continuing with the ongoing ATS Project with a goal of adding 125 new locations to the system. The work has begun laying new lines in the rural areas and will continue throughout the summer. We are also looking forward to adding on the cities of Cayuga and Geneseo.
SE H2o - Central has added a generator to the west reservoir so that in time of power outages, we will still be able to supply people with rural water.
SE H2o - West will be upgrading by adding new variable frequency drives and computer equipment inside the reservoirs.
